Editorial Policy
How hushvalorant.world writes and checks guides: content principles, AI-use disclosure, four fact-check tiers, corrections and advertising independence.
What we publish and why
We publish around one thing: the questions players actually have about Hush and about Valorant. Every page starts from a specific problem — when she unlocks, how an ability interacts with a map, how a leak compares to the confirmed kit.
One page solves one problem. We do not pad a page to chase a keyword, and we do not split a single topic across three thin pages to inflate a count. If a page does not answer a real question better than what already exists, we do not publish it.
How our content is produced
We are transparent about our tools. We use AI tools to help draft, structure and translate text, especially for our five non-English languages. This saves time on the mechanical parts of writing.
AI is not an author. It is not credited on any page, it does not decide what we publish, and it never gets the final word. Every key fact — release dates, ability behaviour, values, names — must be traced back to a primary source by a human editor before the page goes live.
- Drafting and structuring: AI-assisted, human-edited.
- Translation: AI-assisted, human-reviewed for the non-English versions.
- Fact verification: always human, always against a primary source.
- Publication decision: always human.
Our fact-checking tiers
Not every claim deserves the same confidence. We sort them into four tiers and label them in the body text:
- Official confirmation — stated in a Riot announcement, official patch notes, in-client text, or an official trailer.
- Multiple sources agree — two or more named, mainstream esports outlets report the same detail.
- Single source — one outlet reports it and we could not independently confirm it. Treated as likely but unverified.
- Community rumour or leak — unverified chatter. We may cover it for context, but never as fact. If Riot has debunked it, we say it is debunked.
How we handle corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and we show that we fixed it:
- We update the page content itself, not just a footnote.
- We update the dateModified field so search engines and readers can see the page changed.
- We show a last reviewed date on the page.
- We do not touch dates just to look fresh. If nothing changed, the date does not change.
Independence and advertising disclosure
Our guides are written to be useful, not to please a sponsor. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review, and we do not run hidden paid rankings.
If the site carries advertising or affiliate placements in future, they will be kept strictly separate from editorial content and clearly disclosed where they appear. A commercial arrangement will never change how we describe an agent or how we label a fact.
Authorship and how to reach the editors
Pages are published under the Hush Valorant Editorial team name, because that is who writes, translates and checks them. We do not invent named authors or fake credentials to look bigger than we are.
If you want to challenge a fact, request a correction or ask how something was verified, email [email protected]. Every correction is reviewed by a human editor. You can also read the disclaimer and About Us.
What we do not cover
There are lines we do not cross. We do not publish, promote or discuss:
- cheats, hacks, exploits or third-party tools that break Riot’s rules;
- account selling or buying, or any trade of game accounts;
- boosting, elo-selling or paid rank services;
- any method to bypass game systems, payments or restrictions.
Where our standards come from
Our approach to transparency, AI use and usefulness follows public guidance from Google on AI-generated content and E-E-A-T, which recommends disclosing how content is produced and prioritising first-hand usefulness.
Combined with our practice of naming primary sources, this is the standard we hold every page to. If you think we have fallen short on a specific page, tell us — that feedback is part of the correction process.
